2026 Book Summit

The Booked on Planning Book Summit is intended to bring together urban, city, and regional planners, allied professionals, and book enthusiasts to hear from authors and publishers on literature related to the profession and the publishing process. This day and a half event will feature presentations from authors on their recent publications, publishers on the process to get a book from idea to print, and a walking tour of nearby attractions. The book summit will provide the opportunity to engage with attendees and presenters, network, share ideas, earn continuing education credits and explore the city of Charlottesville.

Event Details

Location

Join us in downtown Charlottesville, Virginia to explore the city as well as learn from our authors on the University of Virginia Campus. The main events will take place in the Newcomb Hall Ballroom with a tour planned of the nearby pedestrian mall.
